Phishing Emails

Phishing is when a cybercriminal attempts to acquire sensitive information, such as usernames and passwords, using bulk email that they have disguised so it appears to be coming from a trusted contact or source. Like baiting fish, such e-mails persuade the recipient to supply his password, credit card numbers, or bank account information to an authentic looking, but fake Web site.
